A comfortable, stylish, preferably leather... BACKPACK.

Photobucket

It is widely known that biking to work is the most optimal mode of transportation. There are countless benefits, one of which is keeping fit; enhancing one's general appearance (always desired). The avoidance of the general public; stressed, awkward, and in one's way - is another benefit.

Riding your bike to work presents a plethora of problem-solving, mostly in the wardrobe department. Clothing has to be a delicate balance of form-fitted, comfortable, lightweight & warm. This is a pretty easy solve - but the vessel of carrying your personal items becomes the largest challenge. Mind you a melange of leather & cloth bags are certainly to be owned, but considering a long bike ride they have to be just so. A BACKPACK is unfortunately the most logical solution.

When considering a backpack, one conjures up images of a dingy high school hallway with lockers and stained Jansport backpacks, some with sharpie doodles, others with a patch here & there. A second vignette is that of a European traveller with heavy duty straps, vinyl, pockets; a bag of an adventurer. The bag desired for day-to-day, and office commuting should be medium-sized, preferably leather, & undoubtedly yours.
